Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the recession, many of us have been feeling on edge. Actually, that’s an understatement. So many of us have lost our jobs and are struggling to provide for ourselves right now. We barely have any time to take care of ourselves, let alone others.
Today I’m going to list a few ways you can take care of yourself, based on your zodiac sign. I know that times are rough, and most of us don’t have much time to be worrying about self care – but I tried my best to make these simple, everyday things you can do to make yourself feel a little better.
Aries, you are fiery and independent. You’re always on the go, but sometimes you have to slow down. Brew a nice cup of tea, and binge watch a good series on Netflix.
Taurus, you are loyal, kind, and like to feel secure. Some people may call you a homebody. Invest in yourself and your home, buy a nice fuzzy blanket to snuggle with while you diffuse some essential oils.
Gemini, you are witty, intelligent, and curious. As natural communicators, you usually do the talking. A good way for you to relax is to brew a pot of tea and pick up a good book.
Cancer, ruled by the Moon, you are caring, sensitive, and nurturing. But you cannot always be taking care of others, time to take care of yourself. A nice, warm bath with some bath salts, a scrub, and maybe some body butter will make you feel good as new.
Leo, you are fiery, but you are also creative, playful, and have a heart of gold. Texting or calling a friend, relative, or someone you love will put you in good spirits.
Virgo, you are known to be analytical, an observer, and intelligent. You can also be extremely tough on yourself. Affirmations are a great way to remind yourself that you are worthy, I recommend this book.
Libra, ruled by Venus, you are romantic, artistic, and harmonious. Do a face mask, put on some nice pajamas, and watch a romantic comedy.
Scorpio, you are passionate, sexy, and have a great intuition. Your emotions can be intense, take some time to sit back and reflect. Whether that be journaling or going for a long drive.
Sagittarius, you are a traveler and curious. Take a nice walk or a hike! Basking in the sunlight and breathing in the fresh air will make you feel better in no time.
Capricorn, you are a very ambitious person. You are also practical and disciplined, and sometimes a little pessimistic. Take care of yourself by writing a list of things that you are grateful for, and refer to that list when you are feeling down.
Aquarius, you are very unique, humane, and sociable. There is no better way to recharge than helping others. This may include bringing groceries to a elderly neighbor, or saying hello to the dogs at a local animal shelter. Make sure to bring hand sanitizer and a mask!
Pisces, there is no one more empathetic, compassionate, and artistic as you. However, sometimes worrying too much about other peoples emotions can drain your own.
